I am going to play in a game of Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus and I need some help whit what spells to take. We are going to start at Lvl 5(Celestial Warlock 3/Divine Soul Sorcerer 2) and i don't want to take spells that are going to be useless because I don't get many spells as a Sorlock. I am going to be the main healer and want a good mix of utility, combat, and support spells. At the moment I want to start with,
Sorcerer Cantrips
Guidance
Spare the Dying
Thaumaturgy (because this is one of my favorite spells)
Dancing Lights (I like the spell but I am not sure how good it is going to be in Avernus)
Warlock Cantrips
Eldritch Blast
Prestidigitation (maybe useless because of Thaumaturgy)
Sorcerer Spells
Create or Destroy Water (because I don't think water is going to be easy to come by)
Protection from Evil and Good
Shield
Warlock Spells Lvl 1
Armor of Agathys
Cure Wounds
Hellish Rebuke (Not sure if I need it if I have Shield)
Warlock Spells Lvl 2
Mind Spike or Flaming Sphere
Are those spells ok or are there better ones to take and are there some spells that I should take later(I want to go for an 8 Warlock/5 Sorcerer split)?
Pls try to keep Spoilers to a minimum I know a little bit about BG:DiA but not too mutch and I don't want the perfect spells for this one encounter just good spells to generally have in Avernus. Thanks in advance.

Sorry if i write stuff wrong I have dyslexia and English is not my first language.
I would suggest taking Mage Hand instead of Prestidigitation and I’d consider taking a cantrip that does damage that requires a saving throw. Mind Sliver, Toll the Dead, and Sacred Flame are all great options for you. Remember, you have disadvantage on attack rolls when you have an opponent within 5 feet of you which will cripple Eldritch Blast.
Keep in mind that Protection from Evil and Good requires a 10 GP material component each time you cast it. Unless you have a cleric in the party who can create Holy Water I can see that material component being hard to come by.
I think that almost everything in Avernus is resistant to fire damage, cold damage, or both. I would avoid spells that do fire or cold damage, and that’s 3 of your spells that do damage.
