Glyph of Warding has the ability to store a spell to be triggered on some event. What are some good spells to store in it to create interesting traps, either for your players if you're a DM, or for attacking monsters if you're a player? Maybe interesting effects that require other means to solve than just having a big bag of hp and damage and healing.
It’s a big upcast, but plane shift could be fun. Touch my stuff and you’re going to hell. Or, a little less extreme could be banishment, the idea being the caster would come over in that minute and then have a chat when they get back from their demiplane. Or at least take one party member out for a bit.

Could be fun, but do a safety check with your players in session 0 or before eternally damning a PC. It can be triggering for certain marginalized people.

Yeah that could be a decent part of an arcane burglar alarm that Banishes one character and damages others with Thunderwave while the sound alerts minions to attack.

Traps: any debuff or disable (blind, force wall)
buff stash house or dimension: stack what you got especially if concentration even one per member like greater invis, aid , heal spells etc
If you are going all in on Glyph, consider the real safe house, for those with high level spells:
1) Create a Demiplane using Demiplane.
2) Make a "Save me!" Demiplane.
3) Fill "Save me!" with helpful Glyphs - things like healing, etc. If you have no such spells, go with Temp hp, dispell, Remove Curse, etc.
