I was looking at ways I could use prestidigitation in combat, and I found this nice way to get free infinite combat items like bombs, grenades and acid vials. There are two methods I’ve found.
1st method: requires a slightly more lenient DM
Have a level 3 high elf rogue, with prestidigitation as your cantrip, and choose the thief subclass. To use this trick, cast prestidigitation as your action to conjure a bomb, acid flask, or whatever you want, then as your bonus action use Cunning Action/Thief’s Reflexes to take the Use an Item action and throw your implement of choice. However, this does require that your DM considers your weapon of choice as a non-magical trinket, and that the throwing is using an item and not the Attack action.
2nd method: requires 2 extra levels in Wizard and that you have seen the object you wish to summon
Have the same character, but without the race restriction, and with an extra two levels in conjuration wizard. This time, instead of casting prestidigitation, you use the Minor Conjuration feature. Otherwise it is the same, and it doesn’t require your DM to classify your item of choice as a “trinket”. However, the other two restrictions still matter.
With these two tricks up your sleeve, you can now summon and throw an infinite number of grenades, acid vials or whatever you want. What you choose to do with this information is up to you.
I don't think the prestidigitation works, and as for minor conjuration, well, that works, but it would cost an action to make and throw, and stockpiling is impossible.
Nothing in the spell description allows you to summon a bomb or acid flask. It only allows you to make nonmagical trinkets. There is a specific section of the rulebook which lists trinkets, https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/phb/equipment#Trinkets
Wait, is it only restricted to that list? I thought it was just a suggestion of possible things, and trinket was just a generic word meaning “small item” for this.
The purpose of a "Trinket" is to be a purely sentimental object that can provide depth to a character, or act as a point of intrigue for the narrative. As a "real" object, it will have physical properties that could come into play mechanically, but only in the same sense that a player could pick up a stone, stick, or leaf off the ground without needing to get approval from a DM first.
This is essentially true for "pets" as well. They exist, but are decorative, and inconsequential. A DM may allow them to perform "tricks", but they lack the capacity to benefit the player mechanically other than circumstantially. If given a more "tangible" existence, they would basically die every time combat started.
The table just said a knife, i was just providing LordBlaze64 with a replacment for grenades, Knifes!
And as pointed out, those "knifes" (I presume you mean 'knives') wouldn't work as weapons. You might as well pick up a small stone, as Memnosyne mentioned.
Well it would depend on the DM, having a knife isn't the same as a small stone. But thank you for the feedback!
We're talking RAW. Of course your GM can always decide to do what they want and not follow RAW but as has been pointed out by Farling, the trinket knives don't have combat stats.
I don't think either would work. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Fast Hands trait for a rogue has only the Use an Object action, Dexterity(Sleight of Hand) check, or use Thieve's Tools to unlock or disarm a trap. Throwing a grenade would be an attack roll.

I'm Hecate! I've got a lotta titles, and there's no way this sig space would hold them all lol
remember that my PMs are always open to anyone who needs someone to talk to, vent to, or just shout at, and i'll always respond relatively quickly
Which in any case can be used as an improvised weapon
You could conjure a wooden duck decoy, a cheese grater or a pixie-sized privy seat to use as an improvised weapon. Improvised weapons are completely beside the point

Trinkets are small items of no consequence. If an item is a tool or a weapon, it doesn't count as a trinket.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Ah, I see. I was just thinking about the small part. Good to know in future.

You could conjure knifes! which is interesting

No, because as 6thLyranGuard pointed pointed out, "If an item is a tool or a weapon, it doesn't count as a trinket."
If you would take a stroll to the trinkets table, one of the trinkets is a knife from a relative

Like I said, if your GM wants to go against RAW they can allow pretty much whatever, but that's not what the thread is about.
Improvised Weapon is perfectly RAW my friend. I am just here giving LordBlaze64 some advice to bring up for his DM
