I want to make one possibly as a PC and if it's too hard i'll just make them as a NPC and have my players deal with it.
Note: 27 points as all of my DMs which are 2 like 27 points over rolling. All legal races and classes plus obviously the blood hunter.

Born under the watch of something from the furthest corners of the far realms.... It knows all.... it sees all... and it asks: "What is it that you want to see?"... and my answer is... ALL"
Whilst this sounds cool, this is actually very conflicting action economy wise. You'll end up with three different bonus action activated abilities (Crimson Rite, Lycan hybrid form, Rage), you'll also autofail the self control check if you manage to rage and transform in a combat (though you may not mind this).

Do you have any preferences regards race?
Yea, while it seems weird on action economy but it won't matter if you are using a 1h or 2 handed weapons right? Auto failing won't be much of a problem if i am surrounded by enemies. As for race preference, probably the ones that makes it function well without being built awkwardly.

I'm actually playing this combination right now in a game. 3 levels of Bloodhunter and then nothing but Barbarian. More or less, the only time I use the Hybrid Form is if I get below half hp anyway, treating it like my character's "survival instincts" kicking in. The loss of control totally doesn't matter at that point, and if you went Totem Barb, you can eventually get the totem to have an AOE Compelled Duel and make it interesting.
