My gut instinct says no, Beacon of Hope says that they gain the maximum number of hit points possible from any healing, however Life Transference heals in a weird way. Life Transference's healing is double the amount of Necrotic damage taken and Beacon of Hope doesn't interact with damage taken in that way.
Looking at this tweet from Jeremy Crawford he agrees. The intent definitely seems like it isn't supposed to interact that way.
Let’s say I have Beacon of hope up.
would it make Life Transference, do the max 32 damage, to give a max 64 healing to the person transferring life to?
Blank
No.
Because Beacon of Hope doesn't maximize the random damage done to you.
It only maximizes the healing done to the target.
Since the healing isn't randomized (it's a static number), Beacon of Hope doesn't apply.

Ty both of you. RAW I didn’t see how it could. And you know how there’s sage advice RAI things. So wanted to know from that too.
life transference being that “weird” healing way. Like goodberries which aren’t a healing spell but a healing item created by a spell.
ty both.
