The way they are rolling out the playtest is really weird imo. Like we just got 3 classes, 1 sub class each and new feats. So I'm using the old fighter with the new feats, a new ranger with the new feats, a old wizard with the new feats etc. The new feats are nerfed pretty hard, the rogue is a bit nerfed but they are right next to a full spell caster using spells as written in 5e which aren't nerfed at all, even if I give the wizard the new weaker spell progression they are looking just flat out better than the martials. Before the martials could at least hang in combat due to the feats. Yes, release X may give some boost to the martials or nerf the spells, but release X isn't here yet so I am comparing the new vs the old which makes the new just look bad. And you can't really say for sure what the problem is, are the spells the problem the new feats who knows because warrior release isn't out yet which may show how martials actually can hold their own.
Give us all the classes, but just levels 1-3, with all the feats that apply there, give me all the spells for those levels or even a short list of spells. That I can playtest effectively. This its really hard to playtest as you are comparing one system to another system and not parts of the same system against each other and how they work as a whole.
No. They want focused feedback. If you want to help, playtest the bits that they're looking for feedback on. When they want to focus on and iterate upon the Wizard, they'll release the Wizard and ask for your opinion on it.
The feedback from the first UA has already influenced the second UA. This way is great.

They should have focused by using small level ranges. As this focus does not let me compare like to like, I'm comparing new weaker fighter to old powerful wizard.
Yeah, I agree with you. As it is right now it's difficult to determine if these changes are part of a widespread rebalance of power scaling from lower levels to higher levels, or if it's just a few classes that are getting shafted at low levels. Playtesting these new class rules with existing/unchanged classes, you are definitely going to feel worse at low levels, and probably not too different at higher levels.
Is the intention is to close "loopholes" in min-maxing play patterns for other classes, or just rogues? As a rogue you were never going to do as much damage as a paladin, but you could find a build that would close the gap a little. Playtesting this UA at 5th level, a rogue is going to feel like they have a giant handicap standing next to a paladin. And a bard (with basically any subclass) is going to feel half as useful as they did with the old rules. And weird/unique bards are gone until 11th level because that's when the spell list restrictions can be lifted.
What is it that they actually want to test? At the levels most people play at, I'm guessing they are just going to feel worse choosing a class from this UA.

That actually telling them exactly what they want to know.
"My 5e martials aren't keeping up well under new system. They need a damage buff. My casters are flat out better. They do not need any buff."
