There's a specific line on that feature's description that really caught my eye: «When you cast an artificer spell on your turn, you can cast it as if you were in the spectral mind’s space, instead of your own, using its senses».
I want you to read again the bolded text. Does that mean what I think that means? If the Artificial Mind can see a creature that I don't see, can I still target that creature with a spell? If so, would I need to first use my action in a previous turn to see through its senses? The bolded text just say "using its senses", not something like "while you are using its senses".
So this is an instance of RAW vs RAI? I'm kind of new to the jargon. :P
Pretty much. In this case, the RAW is ambiguous enough to be interpreted in 2 different ways. It is still in playtest, and I think the archivist is going to see some changes in final version.

It is definitely implied to require you to be concentrating on using its senses.
