When inhaled, snorted, or otherwise consumed, the user’s pupils dilate dramatically and they immediately begin to perceive three realities at once—the Material Plane, the Shadowfell, and the Weave.

At the moment of ingestion, the user must succeed on a DC 15 Charisma saving throw:

• On a Failure: The visions are limited and emotionally misleading. You perceive only surface-level spiritual echoes—for example, an orphan might see vague shapes resembling their birth parents, regardless of emotional connection. These false echoes can cause discomfort, confusion, or longing.

• On a Success: You see true spiritual bonds. This may include ancestors, adoptive family, mentors, or kindred souls. Religious individuals may glimpse their full spiritual lineage. Mages might see the memory-trails of their spellwork, and warriors might see spectral battle-scars stretching into the past.
