Weapon (trident), artifact (requires attunement by a God Or Someone Given The Ability To Do So By A God)

The mythical trident of an acient God Of The Ocean. This trident allows you to take the attack action with it in order to deal 6d12 +10 force damage, you also add your proficiency bonus and your wisdom modifier to the damage rolled.

While attuned to this weapon, you get resistance to all nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage, as well as a swimming speed of 100 feet.

Whenever a creature falls unconcious as a result of an attack from this weapon, roll a d6, the creature gets bestowed with a curse from this table according to the roll:

 

  1. Lost At Sea: If the creature attempts to set sail, the sea will become so treachorus that they will either drown or be lost in sea for 10 years.
  2. Unseen Prophecies: The creature will become blind and will be attacked by a flying creature at least once a day.
  3. Hunted By Mrine-Life : Whenever the creature comes in distance of at least 1000 feet of a sea creature, That sea creature will sense it and attempt to close up on the creature and kill it.
  4. Monstrous Offspring: If the creature will attempt to raise a child with this curse active than his firstborn will transform into a random large or huge underwater beast at the age of 10 losing all memory of who they once were. after their firstborn child is concieved, the curse will be removed from that creature.
  5. Wrath Of Nature: If the creature a sleeps in the same area for a year, that area will be destroyed by a natural disaster.
  6. Salty Mortality: Whenever the creature will attempt to consume any sort of food or beverage the item will become so salty that the creature will have to sucseed on a DC18 con save in order to not throw up. 

A creature cursed by this artifact will be unaware of the curse's existence unless revealed to him and any magical attempt to remove the curse will fail unless the caster succeeds in a DC28 wisdom check and if failed, the caster will lose the ability to make an attempt at removing the curse, ever again.

Proficiency with a Trident allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
