This small, makeshift explosive consists of a fragile casing packed with bits of metal and a vial of alchemist’s fire, designed to detonate in a fiery blast and scatter hazardous debris.

As an action, you can throw the firebomb at a point within 30 feet. The bomb detonates immediately upon impact.
  • Fire Burst: Each creature within a 10-foot radius of the detonation point must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d4 fire damage on a failure, or half as much on a success.
  • Shrapnel Spray: Each creature within a 20-foot radius must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 1d8 piercing damage on a failure, or half as much on a success.
  • Caltrop Scatter: The ground in a 20-foot radius is covered in caltrops. Any creature that enters the area must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or stop moving this turn and take 1 piercing damage. Taking this damage reduces the creature's walking speed by 10 feet until the creature regains at least 1 hit point. A creature moving through the area at half speed doesn't need to make the save.

The creation of this item consumes half of a Gunpowder (powder horn), 1 Alchemist's Fire and a Caltrops (bag of 20)
