Weapon (longsword or scimitar, your choice), very rare (requires attunement by a Cleric of the Sea Mother)

Forged in the depths of a sacred undersea trench and blessed by the Sea Mother's breath, this blade ripples with aquamarine energy. Barnacle-like patterns line its fuller, and the tang smells faintly of salt and kelp. When swung, it sounds faintly like crashing waves.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Properties:

  • You are proficient with this weapon while attuned to it.

  • You can use your Wisdom modifier for attack and damage rolls with this weapon.

  • This weapon can function as a spellcasting focus for your Cleric spells.

Crashing Wave (1/Short Rest).

As an action, you may slam the blade into the ground or a body of water, invoking the Sea Mother’s wrath. All creatures of your choice in a 15-foot cone must make a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or be pushed 10 feet back and knocked prone. On a success, they take half damage and are not pushed. The wave deals 2d6 cold or lightning damage (your choice).

Ocean's Respite. (1/Long Rest)

When you cast a healing spell of 1st level or higher on a creature, you may also cleanse them. Once per long rest, that creature can end one condition affecting it (blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned).

Tidewoven Ward. While attuned, whenever you cast a healing spell, you or a creature within 10 feet of you gains resistance to fire damage until the start of your next turn, as if the cooling waters of the deep wrap around them.

The blade glimmers with the hue of moonlight on ocean water. The grip is wrapped in blue-green sharkskin leather, and a small seashell dangles from the pommel, whispering the Sea Mother's lullaby in the quiet.

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
