Appearance: The Zvezda typically has an 8-inch long, 2-inch wide (tapering), 1-inch deep (tapering), 1095 steel blade with nearly unnoticeable nozzles along the flat of it. It has a lightweight, tungsten guard 3.5 inches long. The hilt of the dagger is hollow except a needle that juts out of the guard (inside the hollow hilt). It also has a trigger at the front and a small, circular button on the side. The Zvezda comes with capsules that fit into the hollow hilt with a puncturable hole on the top for the needle. Inside the capsules, the wielder can pour any sort of liquidated substance and then load said capsule into the hilt. If the wielder presses the trigger on the hilt while the capsule is inserted, the contents of the capsule is released out onto the blade through the aforementioned nozzles. To replace or "sub out" the capsule, the wielder must press the button on the side of the hilt, dropping the capsule and allowing them to "reload" with the same or a completely different substance.
History: Zvezdas are exceptionally rare because they're commonly given alongside a military award of the highest prestige. To receive a Zvezda, a soldier has to have "embodied the stars" in battle. To do so, one must have the greatest skill and potential among his comrades and display that power competently in the field of battle. The reason why the conditions are so strangely difficult is because true Zvezdas are only ever forged by the five greatest blacksmiths of the time of its forging. When an order for one is sent out, every blacksmith in the realm is required to take an assessment to determine their worth. The five best candidates are chosen to forge the dagger. Because of the constant competition, there are no two Zvezdas in history that have ever been exactly the same.
Functions: The user can add +2 whatever affinity damage or a debuff or a buff as applicable. So, if one were to use a poisonous substance, you could potentially grant your target the poisoned status effect. If you use gasoline and set your blade on fire, you could do +2 fire damage. If you use healing potion, you could stab someone back to perfect health. (Please use at the DM's discretion).
Rules: You may only ever have 20 or less capsules on you. The amount of capsules that you have AT THE READY are the amount of charges applicable to you. When I say at the ready, I mean they have the compound inside them and are ready for loading. It is illegal for anyone to have more than 20 capsules, regardless of their intentions, and they will automatically be put to death on sight. DON'T HAVE MORE THAN 20 CAPSULES.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
