This wooden broom, which weighs 3 pounds, functions like a mundane broom until you stand astride it and speak its command word. It then hovers beneath you and can be ridden in the air. It has a flying speed of 30 feet. The broom stops hovering when you land. As you have not mastered the power of this broom, you can only use its flying speed vertically or horizontally in a single turn but not both. You cannot ride more than 60 feet in the air.

If you take damage while mounted in the air, you must make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or fall off.
