Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

Forged with alloy drawn from a meteorite that fell from the Plane of Air and infused with elemental resonance, this blade hums faintly when drawn and releases thunderclaps with each strike.

Properties:

  • Thunderous Strike. When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can choose to unleash a concussive burst of thunder. The target takes an additional 1d12 thunder damage, and must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away and deafened until the end of its next turn. This feature can be used 3 times per long rest.
  • Storm’s Voice. While attuned, you can cast the thaumaturgy cantrip. When you do, your voice can boom up to three times louder than normal and echoes like distant thunder.
  • Resonant Parry. When a creature hits you with a melee attack while you’re holding this weapon, you can use your reaction to cause a thunderous shockwave between your weapons. The attacker takes 1d12 thunder damage, and the attack is made at disadvantage if it is not magical. This ability can be used once per short or long rest.

If you wield this sword in overcast weather or when a storm is approaching, it hums slightly and sheds dim light in a 50’ radius.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
