Forged from the fang on an ancient beast that walked the wilds, Viturúlfr is a greatsword that looks bronzed with age and stained by moss but is incredibly sharp. The hilt of the blade looks like a great beast's mouth open and snarling.
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. It has the following additional properties.
Heart of the Pack
When holding the weapon you advantage on an attack rolls against a creature if at least one of your allies is within 5 ft. of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated. You also can’t be charmed or frightened.
King of Beasts
Viturúlfr can cast dominate beast once per day. It decides when to cast the spell and maintains concentration on it so that you don’t have to. The spell save for this is DC16.
Sentience
Viturúlfr is a sentient chaotic neutral weapon with an Intelligence of 14, a Wisdom of 17, and a Charisma of 12. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.
The weapon can speak, read, and understand Common, and can communicate with its wielder telepathically. Its voice is deep and noble. While you are attuned to it, Viturúlfr also understands every language you know.
Personality
Viturúlfr speaks with a deep and noble tone, commanding and wise.
The sword's purpose is to aid those afflicted with beast blood, such as were-creatures and shifters, achieve glory in battle. Viturúlfr was an ancient direwolf who commanded the wilds as his own and protected those of his kin and those he deemed worthy with his power. When he was slain by an army who sought to clear out the wilds, druids took his bones and forged the sword with a fang from the beast's maw. His soul was drawn from the ether and put into the sword so that he may see battle time and time again.
Viturúlfr is a stubborn master who demands honor and for his wielder to never show fear in the face of adversity. He will often let out a howl into the mind of his wielder to inspire them and call them into battle when he feels a fight may be brewing.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
