This staff can be used as a spellcasting focus.
This dark oak staff has twists and knots all about it. Etchings of vines with sharp teeth cover the staff, giving a foreboding aura to it.
This staff has 5 charges, regaining 1d4 + 1 charges every dawn. If an effect calls for a saving throw, the DC is 15.
As an action, you can spend 1 charge to cast the entangle spell but the area is a 30 ft. square instead of a 20 ft. one.
As an action, you can spend 4 charges to make billowing vines flow out of the staff. All enemies within 90 ft. of you must make a Strength saving throw or take 3d6 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone and restrained. Targets take half damage and aren’t knocked prone or restrained on a successful save. The ground is now covered in vines, making it difficult terrain, except for your allies. These vines cover walls and other obstacles, dealing damage to them as well.
As a bonus action, you can make a 5 ft. square of vines that you can see within 30 ft. of you (whether from this staff’s abilities or if it was already there) lash out at a target within 5 ft. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d4 bludgeoning damage.
Staff, rare (requires attunement)
