This “gizmo” is a long knife forged with a steel alloy by a secret method known only to tinkers. It takes 8 hours of work, Smiths’ Tools, and 8 gp to make one. It is sharper than a normal dagger (+2 damage) and nearly unbreakable (DC 20). It can do either slashing or piercing damage and it is finely balanced for throwing (+1 to hit when thrown). Tinkers’ knives are highly prized (20 gp) and tinkers don’t part with them lightly. In all other respects it has the same properties as a dagger.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
