A finely crafted glaive forged from driftsteel and polished shellstone, Tidepiercer bears elegant marine etchings along its shaft and a crescent blade that shimmers faintly in light. Though currently mundane in function, its craftsmanship marks it as something older — and waiting.
Task to Become Uncommon: "Touch the Deepest Light"
To awaken the latent magic within Tidepiercer, the wielder must descend into the deepest part of a natural ocean trench and present the glaive to a creature of the ancient deep — one that glows with bioluminescence untouched by surface light. The blade must bask in this creature’s light without violence, honoring the power of the deep.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
