Weapon (rapier), common

This slender rapier feels unnaturally light in your hand, its blade forged of dull, silvery metal that hums faintly when swung. Small, swirling etchings spiral up its blade like miniature gusts. Despite being unenchanted, it always seems to cut the air cleanly, with no resistance.

Task to Become Uncommon: “Catch the Breath of the Sky”

To awaken Zephyra Rapier’s latent potential, the wielder must climb to the highest peak within the City State of Altruist — higher than any tower or drone-watch roost — and stand at the edge during a thunderstorm. There, they must catch a bolt of lightning on the rapier’s blade and survive the strike with no magical aid or resistance. The weapon must be held aloft for the sky to judge the wielder’s courage.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Finesse, Vex
