Weapon (scimitar), very rare (requires attunement)

Forged from sky-tempered steel and imbued with the breath of the plane of air, Windcarver sings with the voice of the storm. This elegant, razor-thin blade hums softly in the air, and when swung, it carves through the wind itself, sending forth slicing gales and crackling tempests.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Additionally this weapon deals an additional 1D6 thunder damage on a hit.

Windcutter Strikes: When you take the Attack action with this weapon, you can choose to launch your strikes from a distance instead. When you do so, the scimitar hurls a razor-thin arc of compressed air toward a target within 30 feet.

Gale Step: You can use a bonus action to propel yourself with a burst of wind. Until the end of your turn, your movement does not provoke opportunity attacks, and you gain 15 feet of additional movement speed.

Tempestous Magic: While attuned to Windcarver, you can cast the following spells DC:17 each once a day. You cannot do so again until you finish a long rest

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
