Ring, artifact (requires attunement by a Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard)

This ring has 5 charges. When casting a spell that deals Cold damage, you can consume a charge to cast that spell without a spell slot. These charges are regained on a long rest.

In combat, when you end a turn above 1/2 of your max HP, you take 5 damage.

Through this ring, you can cast an extremely powerful spell. During your turn, you can choose to focus your energy into the ring, allowing you to cast Cone of Cold at 9th level on your next turn, with a spell save DC of 30. Once this is cast, you are Incapacitated and Prone until you complete a long rest, and this ring is destroyed.
