A fluid weapon that shifts between a whip and a sword formed of starlit feathers.
Weapon Forms:
Whip Form
Damage: 1d4 slashing
Properties: Finesse, Reach, Light
Sword Form
Damage: 1d8 slashing
Properties: Versatile (1d10), Finesse
Note: While most versatile weapons don’t have the finesse property, this magical blade is specially crafted to flow like starlight, allowing finesse in sword form.
Swift Reconfiguration:
At the start of your turn, you may switch the weapon's form (whip or sword) without using an action. The transformation is instant and silent.
Zephyr’s Kiss (Mobility Boost):
When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
(Usable once per turn.) You can do this a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier per long rest (minimum 1).
Starplume Lash (Whip Form Only):
As an action, you can lash out a 10-foot line (5 feet wide) of radiant feathers.
All creatures in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Dexterity modifier).
On a failed save, creatures take 2d6 radiant damage and are blinded until the start of your next turn.
On a successful save, creatures take half damage and are not blinded.
(Usable once per long rest.)
Nightglide Blade (Sword Form Only):
When you reduce a creature to 0 HP using this weapon in sword form:
You may teleport up to 20 feet to an unoccupied space you can see.
This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks and is treated as flight for purposes such as crossing difficult terrain or vertical gaps. (Usable once per long rest.)
Appearance:
The weapon is weightless and cool to the touch. In whip form, it flutters like a ribbon of midnight feathers, emitting faint chime-like tones when it strikes. In sword form, it curves like a crescent moon, with stars softly glowing along its edge.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Damage: Slashing, Bonus: Melee Weapon Attacks, By a non-evil creature, Damage, Combat, Versatile, Sap
