Weapon (rapier), rare (requires attunement)

Wyrwood is a rapier originally owned by Amralynn Elborne, daughter to High Lord Emmet Elborne. Only to be wielded by those el born, as they can foresee how to grasp the ever changing thorned hilt. As a semi sentient weapon, it allows protection to the wielder with a +1 to their Armor Class.

Arpagi Ektasi: Large vines plunge from the hilt of the rapier toward a target within ten feet. In an attempt to grapple them, the vines trigger a athletics or acrobatics check on the target who takes 2D12 piercing and is grappled on a fail, or takes half damage on a success and is not pinned. The target may make another save at the beginning of each of their turns lasting up until a minute when the vines retract. If they succeed a re-rolled save, they take half damage. The charges for this ability are equal to your proficiency modifier.

Palepso Ekrixi: With the sword as the center, thorned vines protectively wrap the holder and shoot spikes out 10 feet in all directions (radius) for 6D12 piercing damaging. This ability can be exercised once per day.

Aspida Ampelona: A thick barrier of vines surrounds the wielder and one other ally within five feet. The dome can withstand one hit and then 50 extra hit points while protecting the inhabitants with an extra 10 AC. Those inside cannot reach the world outside but have advantage on saving throws, the uncanny dodge ability, and can be dropped on a free action. The protection lasts 10 minutes unless dropped sooner or hit past its HP level.  This ability can be used once per day.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
