Weapon (crossbow, hand), uncommon

This device requires proficiency in use of the wrist Crossbow to use the following Abilities:

Grappling hook

As a reaction, When you fall you may make a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (acrobatics) check DC 13 to anchor yourself to a target. The DC may Change depending on the difficulty of the target you are choosing to anchor to.  If you are successful you come down to a stop maintaining your current distance to the target (max of 120 ft.)

Tethered shot

As an Action, you may make a ranged weapon attack range 10/20. On hit the target is tethered and when they try to move away from the teether range they make a contested Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (acrobatics) check, if they fail they are kept within range otherwise they drag you to wherever they move. The Target may also attempt to end the tethered effect with a successful contested Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (acrobatics) check



 a free hand is need to fire the grappling hook as a weapon, but a free hand is not need to pull it out or use its reaction property

Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
