Weapon (longbow), rare (requires attunement)

You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

The limb and body of this magic bow has been carved or molded in the image of a dragon. The weapon has been infused with the breath of dragons and carries a spark of their intelligence as well. When you hit with an attack roll using this magic bow, roll a D10 and consult the table below. The target takes an extra 1d6 damage of the type identified in the table.

D10 Result Damage Type
1 Acid
2 Cold
3 Fire
4 Force
5 Lightning
6 Necrotic
7 Poison
8 Psychic
9 Radiant
10 Thunder

If you load no ammunition in the weapon, it produces its own, automatically creating one piece of magic ammunition when you pull back the string. The ammunition created by the bow vanishes the instant after it hits or misses a target.

If you critically hit with your attack, you may choose the type of damage from the table above without needing to roll a D10. Once the bow deems you worthy, you may choose to roll a D10 for the damage type or choose the type when you hit.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
