Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a Spend one hour with your arms draped in each wrap. )

Long strips of sunburnt orange clay colored hand wraps snake their way across your palms and up the length of your forearms. As they settle, they dissolve into the skin, leaving the impression of a corkscrewing scorpion tail down each arm, ending at each of your respective fists. While wearing these wraps, you have a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with your Unarmed Strikes. Those strikes deal your choice of acid damage or their normal damage type.

Chitinous Maul. As a bonus action and by expending 2 ki points, you can empower the wraps for 1 minute. For the duration, each of your melee attacks with an unarmed strike can reach a target up to 15 feet away from you, as acidic green tendrils launch toward the target. In addition, your melee attacks deal an extra 1d6 acid damage on a hit. Once used, this bonus action can’t be used again until the next dawn.

Armor of the Desert Lurker: Using your reaction, you can expend ki points to boost your AC in a defensive flourish. Your wraps will become visible as chitinous plates will form a protective dome around you to try and shield you from enemy onslaught. This chitinous shield will last until the start of your next turn. While grounded defensively, you are sluggish in movement and will have disadvantage on dexterity and strength saves. You can net a bonus of up to a +5 for AC: 2 ki - 1 AC, 4 ki - 2AC, 6 ki - 3 AC, 8 ki - 4 AC, and 10 ki - 5 AC. After activating this ability and spending at least 6 ki points, any companion who is within 15 feet of you can make Dex and Str saving throws at advantage until the start of your next turn.
