Armor (hide), very rare (requires attunement by a DC 15 animal handling check or take 1d6 slashing damage and the amor takes off to the ground)

Has an AC of +3. Weights less than a regular suit of plate armour. When a target of the Identify spell or put on for the first time, it turns out to be a mimic. When put on the mimic will bite the user dealing 1d6 piercing damage and it jumps off the user. The mimic understands common, and over time can be tought to speak simple words. The mimic can be befriended, by giving it a morsel of food and rolling a DC14 animal handling check. after 3 succesfull checks the mimic is tamed, every check below 6 removes a succesfull check, on a nat 1 reset succesfull checks. When befriended, the mimic can be worn like normal armour and can transform into a piece of clothing (AC15). When hit by a melee attack, You can use a reaction to deal 1d6 piercing damage to the attacker. The armour has 3 charges, 1 charge can be expended to cast disguise self(DC14).

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
