Horn Beam. first ranged range: up to 120 feet at advantage and 120 feet to 300 feet at disadvantage, 1 target to 3 targets. secondary ranged range: 60 foot or less area of effect cone, 1 or more targets. Third ranged range: an area of effect that is a 5 foot wide but 60 feet or less line, 1 or more targets. Special attack range: a 20 foot sphere at a point that is less than 120 feet from you, 1 or more targets. Your Hit Roll with This Weapon: (a custom 1d20 roll + your highest ability modifier + your proficiency bonus). on a hit: (1d8 + your Highest Ability Modifier) damage on a successful hit roll when you roll a number that is not a 17 or higher on that 1d20 roll that you have to roll as part of your hit roll. This weapon can also do (1d8 + your highest ability modifier) damage on a successful hit roll when you roll a 19 on that 1d20 roll that you have to roll as part of the hit roll but you can hit up to 3 different creatures or objects with one hit roll and you separately roll damage for each creature or object hit. This weapon can also do (1d8 + 1d4 + your highest ability modifier) damage on a successful hit roll when you roll a 18 on that 1d20 roll that you have to roll as part of your hit roll. The damage dealt is a type you choose that is either radiant or piercing. As your first ranged range, when you use your horn beam as a ranged weapon, you shoot a laser beam from your horn that is directed at a object or creature to damage that creature or object. As your secondary ranged range, when you use your horn beam as a ranged weapon, you shoot multiple laser beams from your horn that are aimed at multiple creatures or objects to damage those creatures or objects with those laser beams. as your third ranged range, when you use your horn beam as a ranged weapon, you shoot a continuous laser beam from your horn that is directed at multiple creatures or objects to damage those creatures or objects that are in a line type of area. as your special attack range, When you use your horn beam’s ranged attack, you shoot a explosive laser beam from your horn that is directed towards an area of your choice that then hits that target area causing damage to creatures and objects.
note: when you use your cone area attack, your line area attack, or your spherical area attack, the dungeon master or you roll a 1d20 for each creature or object that tries to avoid the attack. if a 14 or lower roll is rolled for any creature or object, that creature or object is hit with the attack and it takes (1d8 + your highest ability modifier) damage of the type of damage you choose for the attack. if a 15 or higher roll is rolled for any creature or object, that creature or object is hit with the attack and it takes half of (1d8 + your highest ability modifier) damage of the type of damage you choose for the attack.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
