Weapon (longbow), very rare

This Longbow, either empowered by some sort of deity or other elemental power, is bestowed with a unique element. For a set number of turns, the player wielding this bow can cast miracle that coats the bow in 2d4 magic, fire, lightning, poison, acid, cold, or necrotic damage (depending on the bows history and blessing) in addition to it's 1d8 base damage. When a target is hit with this, each turn after, it takes 2d4 of the type of damage it was inflicted with until the target makes 3 successful saving throws or becomes incapacitated.

 

This feature can be used 3 times after a long rest.

Saving Throws

Fortitude (Constitution): Cold, Poison, Necrotic

Reflex (Dexterity): Cold, Fire, Lightning, Acid

Will (Wisdom): Magic

Optional rule: If the target rolls a critical 1 on a saving throw, he looses the chance to be rid of the damage.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
