Of shadow, life, and collection; this scythe is continuously flaking off its body. Black shadow, falls off, but the weapon remains hole. The shaft of this scythe is of twisted black bark, with silver colored steel riveted and clamped around bits of the wood. As this 5 foot twisted bark leads up to a 2 foot long silver colored steel curved blade; 1 inch thin, and curving roughly 70 degrees. This scythe isn't just a weapon, but it's much more - Once attuned, and fed the weapon unlocks these:
-Weapon flakes off its shadowy specs, though still remaining hole.
-The weapon becomes versatile: When wielding it 2-handed, the weapon deals 1d10 slashing, has the "heavy" and "reach" benefit. When you shrink it, or, more so banish a part of the weapon, cutting 4 feet of this weapons shadowy being; you move your hand up the staff, as you move your hand, the staff leaves, leaving behind specs of ash and shadow. The blade shortens as well; becoming 1 foot long, and now the staff is able to be held in one hand. One-handed deals 1d8 slashing damage, and loses it's "reach" benefit, as well as the "heavy" benefit. To shrink the weapon, it requires a bonus action; to return it to it regular size, it too is a bonus action.
-When you kill any enemy that has blood; your weapon absorbs it into you, gifting you 1d6 + Constitution Modifier hit-points.
-This weapon when in its 2-handed mode, it can be used as an arcane focus, but only in 2-handed mode.
-Weapon: Versatile, Reach (when in 2-handed mode), Heavy (when in 2-handed mode). Damage: 1d10 (when in 2-handed mode), 1d8 (when in 1-handed mode). Weight/Size: 3 lbs, staff is 5 feet, blade is 2 feet. When shrunked: staff is 1 foot, blade is 1 foot.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
