Weapon (crossbow, hand), rare (requires attunement by a short rest.)

2 Hand Crossbows, each of them contain a barbed silver bolt.

Using your attack action you can fire one of the hand crossbows, you can either use an extra attack to fire the other or a bonus action. Add your Dex modifier to both damage rolls.

If the attack hits it does 1D6+Dex Piercing and the bolt sticks into the target. On the enemies turn, the user rolls 1D6 per bolt on a creature with remaining hit points and heal for that amount.

At the beginning of the user's turn, the bolts will disappear from the target and reappear already loaded in the hand crossbows.

Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
