Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a creature with an Intelligence score of 13 or higher)

This dark leather covered journal contains what appears to be only about 100 sheets of parchment, though flipping through the journal you can find no end to the pages as they appear to disappear from the start of the book and reappear at the end. If you tear a page out of the journal, and close the book, a sheet appears within the journal and any evidence that a page was removed is lost from the journal.

When you open the journal or flip a page, you can focus on any entry of the journal or on any subject matter that the journal contains and that information will be displayed on the pages within. If more than one entry would fit the request, it is displayed in chronological order based on entry date.

You can spend one hour with the journal transcribing another book into the journal, thus adding it's contents to the journal's catalogue. The journal automatically corrects any unintentional spelling mistakes you may make. Alternatively, may spend an hour focusing on an image or scene and have it drawn in perfect detail within the book. These can both be done during a short rest.

While attuned to the journal, you are magically aware of all entries and subject matters contained within the journal and gain proficiency with Intelligence (Arcana), Intelligence (History), Intelligence (Nature) and Intelligence (Religion) checks. You gain expertise in Intelligence (History) checks you make.

This journal cannot be used as a spell book but can be used to have spells transcribed from it, like a spell scroll.

The journal has 6 charges. You can expend 1 charge to cast the spell Identify and 2 charges to cast the spell Legend Lore. The charges reset daily at dawn.
