Weapon (greatsword), legendary (requires attunement by a by a dragonborn.)

This curved and pronged blade is carved from ancient dragon bone, its handle wrapped with black dragon hide. It is said to be passed down through generations of dragonborn monarchs, allowing them to command their armies of dragonkin, as well as being the key to releasing an ancient dragon petrified at the base of the fabled kingdom from where this blade was crafted. While you are wielding this sword and attuned to it, you can access the following properties;

  • You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon and it deals an additional 1d6 acid damage. When you hit a creature with a critical hit you can use your reaction to immediately make another attack with this weapon, and if the target is a dragon or dragonkin it has vulnerability to the damage from this additional attack.
  • You can understand, speak, read and write Draconic. You also have advantage on all Charisma checks made to interact with dragons and dragonkin and can communicate with them telepathically. Additionally dragons and dragonkin have disadvantage on any saving throws to resist charm effects cast by the wielder of this weapon.
  •  The touch of this sword can return a petrified creature to flesh, additionally the attuned creature is immune to the petrified condition while they are wielding this sword.

Legendary Resistance [1/Day] : If you fail a saving throw, you can choose to succeed instead, this ability resets at dawn.

Frightening Presence [1/Day] : You can cast Fear (DC 17) once per day, this ability resets at dawn.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
