Weapon (shortsword), artifact

Made out of what appears to be diamonds, this weapon is literally the sharpest and hardest weapon in existence. It is indestructible and will cut through quite literally anything except it’s sheath. Its sheath is made of the same material so the weapon will not cut it. When attacking with the weapon, the player will make a flat roll. If wielder is not proficient with weapon type, roll at disadvantage. If wielder rolls 2-5, they must succeed a Dex saving throw of 8. On success, wielder misses their own body. On fail, wielder hits themselves. Rolling natural 1 of hit roll means instant failure. Damage done by this weapon is at the discretion of the DM as the situation will vary.

This weapon has the ability to shapeshift into any weapon. Wielder just has to say what weapon they would like it to become. If turned into a weapon without a blade, the weapon will then be used as it’s common counterpart with exactly the same stats.

IGNORE COMMON WEAPON PROFICIENCY

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Finesse, Light, Vex
