A gold trimmed hourglass with shimmering silver sand floats within 2 golden rings, that rotate around one another. The golden rings are engraved with runes imbuing it with its arcane magic. The hourglass and engraved golden rings dangle from a long thin gold chain. When the hour glass is turned, end over end, it allows for short time travel expeditions. Each revolution the hour glass makes is 10 minutes worth of travel to the past, up to 60 minutes of time. Time reverses for everything besides those within the Time Turner's golden chain. Those within the chain are returned to the past in the same place they started, in the same condition as when they initiated the Time Turner. A Time Turner may be used up to once per 24 hours. Using a Time Turner creates a secondary timeline, bound to the first destined to rejoin the original at the point of which the Time Turner was initiated.
The user will exist in two locations at once in the past. As that is, it is imperative that the wearers past self not see the user. If this happens time reverts back to the point at which the Time Turner was initiated and the wearer takes 3D10 psychic damage and is unconscious for the same time in which they traveled to the past.
The Time Turner requires 2 turns to be used in combat, if the wearer takes damage whole in the process of turning the Time Turner will expend its daily charge, but will fail to send the wearer to the past. The magic implodes into the wearer and they must make a wisdom saving throw. 15+ succeeds. On a fail the wearer falls to the ground unconscious for 1 minute.
