This arrow is made of a single brittle, black metal. It has a faint vibration to the touch.

When attacking with this arrow as ammunition, all modifiers are removed from the attack roll except for the wielder's base attack modifier (ex: a +1 bonus from a bow). The user cannot have advantage on an attack roll made with this arrow nor can they benefit from any external effects such as bardic inspiration or bless. 

The wielder of this arrow tethers their very soul to the arrow when it is knocked. When the arrow is fired, the soul is torn from their body and used to fuel the attack.

If the target of an attack made with this arrow is hit, that target is reduced to 0 hit points and may not make any death saving throws. Additionally, the wielder is reduced to 0 hit points and may not make any death saving throws.

On a miss, the arrow disappears and is sent to a random location on the same plane of existence. The wielder's soul is returned to their body at the beginning of their next turn. Before the soul returns, the wielder is Unconscious.
