Weapon (warhammer), legendary (requires attunement by a non-evil character)

The handle and grip is composed of a living sapling with a thick and sturdy trunk, the roots of the sapling wrap around a small boulder used as the head. The roots are covered in thorns that regrow after a few seconds if broken off. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. On a hit you deal an additional 1d6 piercing damage. If the stone head is ever broken the sapling only needs to be planted and it will wrap around a new one. 

[Awakenedwhen a character awakens the Thymea, Sapling of Fey Heart, apply the following changes to the items traits:

  • You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
  • On a hit you deal an additional 1d8 piercing damage. 
  • As an action, you can slam Thymea into the ground and cast the instantaneous version of the plant growth spell. If you want to use the 8 hour casting of the plant growth spell you must plant Thymea into the ground and the plant growth spell is centered and channeled from where Thymea is planted, no concentration required by the wielder. You cannot use this ability again until you finish a short or long rest.

[Exalted] when a character exalts the Thymea, Sapling of Fey Heart, apply the following changes to the items traits:

  • You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
  • On a hit you deal an additional 2d6 piercing damage. 
  • When you score a critical hit with this weapon, the target must succeed on a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be restrained by the roots coming off of Thymea. You can also roll an additional 2d6 piercing damage when determining the extra damage from the critical hit. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turns to break free.

Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.
