While wearing this hat, you gain resistance to psychic damage, have advantage on saving throws against being charmed by spells, and cannot have your mind read. Additionally, you cannot be communicated with via telepathy and the effects of message and sending targeting you are nullified.

Curse. This hat is cursed. Not magically, but socially. Until the hat is removed from your head, you have disadvantage when making Charisma checks and stealth checks that rely on blending in with crowds. You also suffer a -3 penalty to your Charisma modifier.

It is also easily removed and you must make a DC 12 Dexterity save if there is any wind stronger than a light gust or you take more than 5 points of any damage that is not psychic, where your hat is knocked off and falls to the ground on failure.
