A weapon forged in heavenly fires, Baneslayer is made to kill demons and their spawn.
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Baneslayer deals an extra 2d10 radiant damage to fiends. It has the following additional properties.
Divine Justice. When you hit a fiend with Baneslayer, the fiend must make a Wisdom saving throw. If it fails, it takes an extra 2d10 radiant damage and has disadvantage on the type of d20 roll you choose until the end of your next turn: Ability checks, Attack rolls, or Saving throws. If it saves, it takes no damage and no effects occur.
Wrath of Angels. Baneslayer has 15 charges. Whenever you attack with Baneslayer, you may expend any number of charges. When you do, gain 1d10 life for each charge expended this way. You may also cast the following spells by expending a number of charges equal to what is listed: Flame Strike (5 charges), Destructive Wave (3 charges; Radiant damage), Divine Word (5 charges), Heal (4 charges).
Soulfire. Whenever you attack a creature with Baneslayer, you may choose to lose any number of hit points. When you do, Baneslayer gains a bonus to damage for 1 minute equal to the amount of life lost this way. This feature can only be used once per day, recharging at dawn.
Final Word. When the attuned creature drops to 0 hit points, Baneslayer explodes with heavenly fire. All creatures within 60 feet of Baneslayer takes 12d12 radiant damage, and the creature who dropped the attuned creature to 0 hit points takes 24d12 radiant damage. If the attuned creature dies, Baneslayer portals to a place of the DM's choosing, on the plane that it is on.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
