Staff (quarterstaff), very rare (requires attunement by a short rest spent practicing with this weapon to unlock its magical properties. Requires Dexterity of at least 16. )

An exceptionally light naginata. When wielding this weapon, gain an additional 5 feet of movement. Deals 1d6 slashing damage (1d8 versatile) when attacking with the blade, 1d6 bludgeoning damage (1d8 versatile) when attacking with the haft. 

Channel the Wind: As a Bonus Action,  you may choose to channel wind through the naginata's blade, emitting a blast of force that pushes either one creature 15 feet or all creatures in a 5-foot sphere 5 feet. This can be performed up to three times per long rest.

Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
