Yeenoghu's Flail has three charges that refresh per short rest. Each charge may be expended once to trigger one of the following effects once. You may apply the effect after you see the dice roll, but before you know if is a success or a fail.
1. The attack deals an extra 2d10 acid damage.
2. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed until the start of Yeenoghu’s next turn.
3. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be affected by the confusion spell until the start of Yeenoghu’s next turn.
Curse: Once attuned, you refuse to part with the weapon/unattune it. This curse can be broken with a greater restoration, which will also unattune the item. Your body resists the unattunement causing you to roll a wisdom save against the casters spell save dc. If you become unattuned to this item, you immediately age 8d10 years.
Also, while wielding the weapon, if you take damage make a DC 17 wisdom save. On a failure, you must attack the creature that damaged you until you or they hit 0 hit points. If you're wounded by multiple opponents, this applies first to the one closest to you. If you are unable to reach the enemy in melee that damaged you turning your turn, you may repeat the save at the end of your turn.
If the wielder is not a gnoll, gnolls attack with advantage against you.
Proficiency with a Halberd allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
