Lore:
The Worldmaker Anvil is found deep in the northern mountains, at the heart of the dwarven capital of Kaladim. The Mountaincloak family found the Worldmaker thousands of years ago and led to them becoming the most powerful house of the cities' five noble houses. Legends speak of the anvil being a godly gift to the Mountaincloak family while their ancestors were carving out the mountain. The anvil now belongs to the head blacksmith of the Mountaincloak family and is used very sparingly, only in times of greatest need. In past centuries, overuse has wrought poor quality items, of which even a simple blacksmith shop could produce. The dwarven noble families agreed that a ruler or person of power would abuse Worldcrafter, and there has been historical proof of this, which is why the chosen blacksmith is the owner and not the head of household. The anvil's inner power flows through the crafter to create items beyond what abilities are even beyond an anvil. As each creation takes its final form, it will have auxillary enhancements appear overnight, such as a carved handle with embroidery on a sword. The anvil has an opening at the top that closes when a gem is placed inside. Once the anvil is struck with a hammer, a great flame covers the top of the anvil for a period of time. After the flames subside, an item will lay on top of the anvil. If the gods are good, the gem that was originally sacrificed is adorned in the item and, once picked up, the anvils cap opens once more for another creation to be attempted.
