When attuned choose a one or two-handed melee weapon and gain proficiency with that weapon. While attuned the user may, as a free action, change the cane into that weapon. It is considered a magical weapon.
The attuned becomes aware of the existence of the matching top hat and monocle and wants to unite the set. If another part of the trio comes within 5 miles, both owners can sense the general direction of the items and wants to pursue gaining the item. They can be persuaded to attend other activities for awhile. If 2 items are attuned and the last comes into range, the character will put seeking out the third as a top priority.
If Abram’s Cane and Abram’s Monocle are attuned, while in use and in combat, you do not have disadvantage vs invisible, ethereal, intangible, or unseen foes. The foes aren’t visible but a vague presence to their location allows the cane to strike true.
If all three items are attuned, an extra attunement slot is granted.
