Weapon (dart), very rare (requires attunement by a by a Druid)

Titania is a wooden dart, cold like metal to the touch. Until attuned, its body is extended and rigid, lifeless. Upon attunement, Titania appears to come to life, acting as though it were a living hummingbird. Titania does not need to breathe, and does not require food or water. Titania possesses three states: Fed, Trained, and Bonded.  Upon attuning to Titania, the Fed state is activated; Trained and Bonded are activated at the DM's discretion.

Fed: You have attuned to Titania, and in return for use, it offers the following traits:

Flight of the Hummingbird. As you throw this dart it seems to become alive and fly on its own. You receive a +3 bonus on ranged weapon attack rolls made this weapon. Because it flies on its own, it ignores both half-cover and three-quarters cover.

Returning. As part of your attack, you can make the bird fly back to your empty hand. You can call the bird back to you from up to 200 feet.

Harvesting. Every time you deal damage to a creature with this weapon, you heal 1 hit point. When you deal a critical hit to a creature, you heal 2 hit points instead.

Trained: You and Titania have begun to learn each other, allowing for more coordinated use. Titania offers the following traits, in addition to those offered by the Fed state:

Coordinate. As a bonus action on your turn, you may direct Titania to move to a space within 200 feet. From this space, Titania may attack any creature within thirty feet as though you used it to attack as a bonus action on your turn.

Badger. When Titania is in a space and within 10 feet of another creature, you may direct it to begin cordoning off an area, circling a space at intense speed. Titania may create a fifteen foot circle. When a creature attempts to enter or exit this space, they must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw. The DC for this saving throw is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier. On a failure, Titania may make an attack of opportunity against the creature. Once this property has been used, it cannot be used again until the end of a short or long rest.

Bonded: You and Titania have bonded to a point in which the movements of one are natural to the other. Titania offers the following traits, in addition to those offered by the Fed and Trained states:

Bonded Pair. Titania is considered alive for the purposes of spells like Beast Sense and Speak to Animals.

Shared Life. When you hit a creature with Titania, you may choose for the healing to be given to one friendly creature within 30 feet of Titania instead of you.

Proficiency with a Dart allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
