Embrace the Cold: When you hit with an attack using this magic Greataxe, the target takes an extra 1d4 cold damage. In addition, while wielding the Greataxe in your hands, you have resistance to fire damage.
Freezing Light: In freezing temperatures, the axehead sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. When you draw this weapon, you can extinguish all nonmagical flames within 30 feet of you. This property can be used no more than once per hour.
Fury of the Blizzard: Once per day, you may cast Snilloc's Snowball Swarm. When cast, a flurry of magic snowballs erupts from a point you choose within range. Each creature in a 5-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw against a dc of 12. A creature takes 3d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This ability refreshes at dawn.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
