The formula for the creation of these blades was first developed by a vampire hunter. When crafting a new blade, the hunter's collection of vampire teeth was added to the molten steel that were formed into their new sword. The weapon developed a vampiric thirst for blood and consumes the life force of the creatures it damages. However, the sword is jealous and refuses to consume the life force of an already wounded beast.
If Thirst is the first weapon to damage an enemy, it gains a charge. The scimitar can only gain up to four charges per day.
The wielder can use their bonus action to use as many charges as they want. Each charge gives 1d4 temporary hit points to the wielder that last up to one minute.
All charges are lost at dawn of the next day.
Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: taking a short rest, Healing, Damage, Buff, Combat, Finesse, Light, Nick
