A specially modified leather gauntlet with pouches and pockets for a variety of things, packed to the brim with wonderful and convenient things, and a specially designed cavity to facilitate the integration of just about anything a creative mind can think up, this gauntlet is a versatile tool for individuals from many professions, be it those that always need a weapon close at hand but not in sight, those that want or need a stealthier and more convenient way to carry the tools of their trade, or even simply those that want a clever place to carry and store their valuables, when this item is crafted or found it has pockets and pouches that can hold up to 10lbs of objects no larger than a small dagger or potion vial and has one or more of the following options.

Hidden Dagger- A dagger is integrated into the underside of this gauntlet, secreted away and only revealed with a special hand motion, the bearer has advantage on sleight of hand checks to hide this weapon, and it cannot be found passively unless a creature would have specific reason to suspect it is anything more than a normal gauntlet, otherwise this functions as a normal dagger without the Throwing property. (Man, i had a guy in a weird white robe tell me i'd have to cut my finger off to make this work right, idiot didn't consider that i could just pad the blade so it comes out lower than my hand, some people just don't think....he did look really cool jumping off that building though, i wonder if he would teach me that.)

Wrist Launcher- An extremely lightweight experimental propulsion system has been affixed to the top of this item, it can utilize a single ammunition type of the bearer or designer's choice (Bolts, Arrows, Sling Bullets, Darts etc). As an action a creature can make a ranged attack with this item, dealing 1d6+Dex on a hit, with a range limit of 40/110 regardless of ammunition type. If darts are the selected ammunition type, creatures attempting to discern the location of a hidden wielder after an attack have disadvantage on perception checks to do so. (I knew a guy that made one of these that launched bees, do you realize how terrifying the stabby end of a bee is when it's hurtling at you with the speed of a crossbow bolt!? Ingeniously terrifying!)


Integrated Tools- This gauntlet has integrated tools, be they for specific uses or simply a versatile array of small tools. Lightweight artisan's tools (Weaver's Tools, calligrapher's supplies, perhaps a chisel or carving knife from mason's or woodcarver's tools, work with your dm for creative ideas with some of the larger tools!) or thieves tools can be integrated into the gauntlet, allowing the wearer to carry at least portions of their tools at all times and always having them conveniently at hand and ready, and easily hidden, thieves tools and tools that might make good improvised weapons are easy to stow and harder to find, wearer has advantage on sleight of hand checks to hide integrated tools, and they can be retrieved with a free action. Alternatively, you may opt for a less specific approach and opt for the Multi-Tool integration, this kit of simple tools, short knives, wire, wrench heads etc is a handyman (or woman's) dream, while they're not good for much individually, they can be utilized almost universally as extra resources for crafting, the wearer receives a bonus equal to half their proficiency modifier (Maximum of +2) on top of normal bonuses when making an ability check with tools in which they are proficient. (In reality i designed this so i didn't have to remember to bring my glasses repair kit everywhere, cause i always forget it, but it had the nice little side effect of being perfect for all kinds of illicit and convenient activities!)

Rapid Injection Rig- A custom rigged syringe and pressure switch have been installed in the underarm portion of this gauntlet, allowing the wearer to use a bonus action and inject themselves with the contents of the syringe and receives it's effects as if they had ingested it. It takes one hour of work to reset and refill the injection mechanism and rigging, or half that time if the creature attempting it is the original creator of the gauntlet or injection rig. It can be reloaded rapidly with the use of a full turn if the wearer succeeds on a dc 15 dexterity (sleight of hand) check, if this check is failed the rig must be repaired over a long rest. (This one was the hardest to get working, and still needs some refining. I have to custom make each injection rig and make sure it's actually finding a vein, which, god do you realize how hard it is to find a dragonborn's veins and get it under the scales without just breaking them, i deserve all kinds of praise for getting that working.)

Inset Focus- Simply put, a spellcasting focus has been attached to this gauntlet, perhaps a holy symbol bound into the leather itself, or an amulet looped over the back of the hand so it's always ready, regardless of the specifics this object allows a caster to utilize their spellcasting focus without it occupying a hand and additionally any creatures that attempt to disarm the caster of their focus do so at disadvantage when it is attached to the gauntlet. (I really...i hesitated to even put this here, cause it seems mostly like common sense, and it wasn't even my idea, half elf friend just wrapped his ruby necklace around it and was happy...but uh...here it is i guess, if it never occurred to you before to just put your focus somewhere it's always at the ready.)

This started out as a simple little brainstorming exercise for my artificer character, whom i'm working on coming up with lots of non-magical solutions to things with tinkering and science and all that fun jazz, but it kinda turned into something i think i wanna expand on maybe, and that i definitely at least had fun, and i hope anyone that finds this and uses it as pleased with it as i am, it's a fun low-power and low-magic way to add some neat bonuses and creativity into your game, even if the idea has been done a thousand times over lol
