Weapon (longsword), very rare (requires attunement)

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon while attuned to it. Also whenever you roll a critical hit with this weapon, all weapon damage die are treated as their max number.

This Longsword houses a bodiless life force that is hostile towards all creatures. While attuned to this sword the following take effect:
- If the user starts a turn with less then Half HP, they must make a Charisma saving throw (DC equals the amount of damage taken since their last, min 5). On a failed save they regards all nearby creatures as hostile. They must move towards the nearest creature and use its action to attack the creature (if it has extra attack it must use all of its attacks).

- If the users falls unconscious they must take a Charisma saving throw (DC 20). On a pass the user instead drops to 1hp and has their Constitution reduced by 2 until their next long rest.

- If the user dies, their body becomes a wight that picks up the sword and uses it to attack the nearest creature within 30ft, if no creatures are present it picks up the sword and remains motionless until a creature enters 30ft.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
