The primary weapon of the sky god and king of Olympus, Zeus. It was forged by the legendary Cyclops blacksmiths for Zeus to win his war against the Titans. It is said to be the origin and ancestor of all natural lightning around the world, and the inspiration for the first Lightning Bolt spell. Zeus’ Master Lightning Bolt can be wielded in one hand.

Lightning Rod. Zeus’ Master Lightning Bolt weapon is not made of actual lightning, but is instead a 2 ft. long adamantine rod, coloured chrome white, which can be easily wielded and stored, and does not harm creatures that hold it. The metal rod is almost never visible however, since it is always enveloped in a flashing, sparking, and pulsating blue energy effect. Zeus’ Lightning Bolt emanates small flickers of electricity, which zap nearby metals.

Spells:

Any creature that is attuned to Zeus’ Lightning Bolt can activate the spells stored within it.

Chain Lighting. You use an action to activate this spell. A zigzagging beam of lighting emerges from the tip of Zeus’ Lightning Bolt and can attack multiple targets. This is a Chain Lighting spell at 9th level. (3/day)

Zeus’ Smite. You use an action to activate this spell. An enormously powerful beam of lightning emerges from the tip of Zeus’ Lightning Bolt, and hits a target you choose. This effect is three Lightning Bolt spells each at 9th level, concentrated into one beam, and treated as one attack. The effect is so strong that a Large or smaller creature hit with this spell is knocked backwards 20 ft, and is knocked prone. If a creature is killed by this spell, its body is instantly incinerated. The spell ignores resistance to magic and lightning. (3/day).

Thunderwave. You use an action to activate this spell, pointing Zeus’ bolt at the floor, and a thunderous boom blasts nearby creatures away. This is a 9th level Thunderwave spell. (3/day)

Fog Cloud. You create a cloud of thick fog near you. This is a Fog Cloud spell. (3/day)

Storm Lord. You point the bolt at the sky, and take control of the weather within 5 miles of you for the duration. You can create a tempest of a storm with screaming winds, thunderclaps, torrential rain, and heavy hail. You can also calm a storm. In a cold area you can summon a devastating snow blizzard. In a desert you can summon a deadly sandstorm. You can wrap a region in heavy fog, or create hurricane force winds, or bring monsoon rains. This is is a Control Weather spell. (1/day)
