Weapon (greatsword), artifact (requires attunement)

This abnormally long greatsword smells of ozone and seems to reverberate with energy as arcs of lightning jump from the hilt to the tip.

Soulbound Attunement. Attunement to Thunderflash cannot be ended by any means except complete destruction of the attuned's soul. When you die or as an action, Thunderflash disappears and its essence is stored within your soul. As an action, you can draw out this essence and manifest the blade in your hand. When you become attuned to Thunderflash your alignment becomes chaotic good and you gain the following traits:

Winds of Change. Your alignment becomes chaotic good and you gain a hover speed of 30ft.

Stormbound. You gain resistance to thunder damage.

Magic Weapon. Thunderflash is a magic weapon that grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.

Gathering Storm. Thunderflash can store up to 10 charges. It gains one charge whenever you hit with a melee attack using it, whenever you deal lightning damage, and whenever you take lightning damage. Only one charge can be gained per made attack, spell, ability, or instance of damage. Ex: A lightning bolt that deals damage to 4 creatures only generates 1 charge.

You can expend X charges to cast the chain lightning spell from it. You can expend X charges to cast tensers transformation where the damage type is thunder instead of force and the duration is 1 minute instead of 10.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Weapon Property: Reach, Bonus: Magic, Resistance: Thunder, Set: Speed (Flying), Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
